Mr. Fleming joined Axonic in 2025 and is responsible for directing all asset management activity across Axonic’s commercial real estate opportunistic and distressed strategies. Prior to Axonic, he was Head of CRE Asset Management at Taconic Capital Advisors L.P. where he led the development and execution of all asset management activity for Taconic’s commercial real estate business. He previously was a Director and Head of Asset Management & Portfolio Strategy at True North Management Group, LLC and a Senior Vice President at Island Capital Group LLC and its affiliate, C-III Capital Partners LLC, where he worked in several different asset management and investment related roles across Island Capital’s commercial real estate investment management platform. He was additionally an Associate at Watch Hill Partners and an Analyst at J.P. Morgan where he was a member of the investment bank’s Financial Sponsors Group. Alex earned a M.B.A. in Corporate Finance and Real Estate Development from the University of North Carolina, Kenan-Flagler Business School, and a B.A. in History from Trinity College.
